I'm new to this Blog stuff!!!

Right now both babies are playing nicely so it gives me a few minutes to work on my new Blog page. I love being a Mom to my little babies Johnny and Cameron. They make me happy. I like taking them to the park, pool, Aunt Erin’s, and on field trips. Some times we get Abbie (grandma) to go with us!!! We do something fun everyday.

My favorite part of the day is when Daddy gets home!!! I love the sound of the garage door opening around 6:30 in the afternoon!!! I’m sure all moms that read this like that sound too.

You're going to miss this!!!

I love this song!!! It is a great song for people of all ages. My sister turned me on to the song because she sings it to me when both babies are crying and I'm at the end of my rope. It is a great reminder that life is like the weather in Colorado...always changing and no two days are alike. you'll have good days and bad days but you will miss the 100 degree weather when it is 2 degrees outside. Just like I will miss having little babies who love to be held, kissed, read to, played with and are just happy in the moment. So....my advice to you is to be happy in the moment. When you are at the end of your rope, sing to yourself "You're gonna miss this!!!" Because you will miss it!!!

This is a picture of me and my friend Colleen talk about doing the Disneyland half Marathon back in May after doing the Minnie Mouse 15K race. "We can do it!!!" we told each other. So we signed up, trained all summer and we leave on Friday for the big race. How exciting!!!
13 miles is a long way but knowing Mickey Mouse will be at the finish line will make all 13 miles worth it!!!
Thank you sissy for training with me this summer. I couldn't have done my long runs without you. If you would like I will continue to do long runs with you for your race. Now that is love!!! I'm sad that you won't be there with me, but I know you will be there in spirit. I'm so glad I have you as a friend and sister!!! Love you!!!

Happy Anniversary!!!

One afternoon last week Chris told me that I needed to clear my schedule from Friday afternoon until Saturday night. I did panic for a minute thinking "What about the kids!!!" He said the kids were taken care of and that I needed to pack a dress and be ready at 1:30PM. My mom picked me and the kids up and we drove to the airport. In my mind I was thinking of all the place we could go for one night; Vegas, San Francisco, Aspen? Chris met me at security and gave me my ticket to Aspen. What a great place to spend our anniversary!!! We went to dinner where we had one of our first dates. It was nice to to spend time with my groom of 4 years with no babies. Thank you baby for a wonderful night!!! It is always nice to spend time with you!!!

Wall.E backpack

Time to go to School?
"I love it Mommy!!!"
The things you do for love!!! Chris and Jonathan were talking about school and what kind of backpack he wanted. For the past few days he has been talking about a Wall.E backpack. I thought this was going to be an easy thing to find....it was not!!! I went on line this morning and ordered this Wall.E backpack from Florida thinking I'm the coolest mom in the world!!! Well I went into a store I never shop in and I see the same backpack I ordered this morning online. I said to myself "oh shoot!!! I hope Jonathan doesn't see it!!!" Then I hear "Wall.E backpack!!! Put it on?" I knew I was in trouble!!! How was I going to tell my two year old that his would come in the mail in a few days? I couldn't do it!!! The boy wouldn't take it off at the register. So we will have two Wall.E backpacks. Funny because yesterday I wish I had one. I guess you always have to watch what you wish for!!!
