Go Broncos!!!

This is a picture of me and my number one Broncos fan. We were in the parking lot having way too much fun!!! We made friends with the “Saints” who are known for their very famous drink the hurricane. I love this drink but only one for me!!!

I love dress up!!!!

I love when I see little boys dressed up in the store and Halloween is 6 months away. It shows their cute personality and there "who gives a dang what people think" attitude!!! Well...little Johnny is much like his Daddy, very straight laced and does like to dress up. But tonight he let his "Mommy's side" come out!!! I love you my little Super Man who wears Cars boots in Target!!! You go Boy!!! We did buy the boots and most likely will wear them to bed but the costume stayed in the store. Dang....I was so close!!!!

We had so much fun at Thornton Fest!!! It was a beautiful fall day and the kids loved the jumping castles, train and animals. It was a great way to spend a Saturday morning.

Ready...set...GO!!!!

Jonathan loved school. He has been asking about it for over a month. He did great!!! He has eight kids in his class. Most of them cried but not Johnny. He gave me a big kiss and said bye Mommy :) We are so proud of him!!! Today Appletree Preschool, tomorrow Harvard Law School.

Here is a play by play of how I did during the race. Before I got to Disneyland my goal was to finish the race. After going to the expo and talking to my trainer (my sister) I said 3 hours or close to it. At mile 3 I was having fun running through Disneyland so the new goal was to run 9 miles and walk only after that. When I hit mile 9 I was feeling good. I only had a few pains and started to think about all the sacrifices others had to make for me to make this race and trip happen. My wonderful husband staying home to be the 24 hour parent for 3 days. My Mom taking care of my babies on Friday. My babies living without their Mommy. My sister for taking time away from her family on Wednesday nights to run with me. My Dad for giving me money!!! A lot of people were sacrificing a lot for me to do this so I needed to do it right...Finish Strong!!!! I ran the full 13.1 miles and finished the race in 2 hours and 34 minutes. I was very happy with my time and performance!!! It was a great race!!! If you want to do a 1/2 marathon...do this one!!! It was so much fun!!!
